With focus on Nordic plants & efficacy, a brand known for lip care products added face oils to its product family. Was the pivot a success?
This is a first post that I have written for ‘paid subscribers’, as I know it will provide you with a well-researched value when it comes to beauty. When Laura Xiao launched her Scandinavian-inspired lip care brand Henne in 2015, lip balms weren’t as main stream, as they are now. Quite a few that you could purchase were sold at indie markets and looked like something you made yourself in your kitchen. With Laura’s designer background and inspired by natural beauty of her husband’s native country, she wanted to bring natural lip care formulations not just to the beauty market, but to a wider community internationally & elevate the offering, making it both aesthetically pleasing on the eye and good for you at the same time.
